"Decorator to the stars" Lacy Fields has it all: a thriving business, a wealthy husband ("plastic surgeon to the stars"), and three well-adjusted children. Her perfect Beverly Hills world goes topsy-turvy, however, when husband Dan is arrested for the murder of a makeup girl (and wannabe actress), whom he claims not to know. Lacy trusts him completely and plans to stand by her man, but when certain clues emerge showing that Dan might not have been entirely forthcoming, she takes action herself. Borrowing from the skills she has honed in her craft, Lacy uses her eye for detail in high-end decor to help unravel the mystery. This stylish and playful mystery/melodrama boasts more home products than clues, which might make it the Devil Wears Prada for the interior-design crowd.
